The Audi R8 V8 Spyder is the open-top version of Audi's legendary mid-engined sports car. It combines captivating high-performance technology with emotive design and features a fully automatic soft top. Based on the R8 Coupé, the Spyder translates its precise driving dynamics into a particularly emotional roadster concept. At the rear of the R8 V8 Spyder lies a 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine – a high-revving, naturally aspirated eight-cylinder with direct fuel injection. It delivers 316 kW (430 hp) at 7,900 rpm and develops a maximum torque of 430 Nm between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm. Thanks to its permanent quattro all-wheel drive, the R8 Spyder offers excellent traction and extremely precise handling. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of approximately 300 km/h.

History

The Audi R8 V8 Spyder was delivered to its first owner by the Audi Center Aachen on August 14, 2014. The service booklet contains several entries from the first owner, demonstrating that the vehicle was always serviced according to manufacturer specifications at the Audi Center. After the change of ownership in 2020, the vehicle was only occasionally used as a third car, resulting in only 3,500 additional kilometers on the odometer after another five years.
