To mark the 15th anniversary of the Porsche Sports Cup Germany, Porsche is presenting a limited-edition special model in racing livery: the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition. This highly exclusive special model of the 718 series, limited to 100 vehicles, celebrated its premiere at the Hockenheimring in October 2019. Alongside the opening of the new Porsche Experience Center Hockenheimring, the sports car manufacturer is also celebrating the Porsche Sports Cup season finale with a grand "Sportscar Together Day." The mid-engined sports car is powered by the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine also used in the Porsche 991 GT3 RS. While the Cayman's output has been reduced to 420 hp, the mid-engine layout makes it an extremely agile and perfectly balanced sports car.

History

The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition was delivered to its customer by the Porsche Centre Baden-Baden on March 19, 2020. In accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, the Porsche received its first service on June 1, 2022, at a mileage of 5,855 kilometers. After another two years and a total mileage of 7,083 kilometers, a further service was performed. To protect the paintwork, the front of the vehicle was covered with XPEL paint protection film. The first and only change of ownership occurred in March 2025, and the vehicle has been meticulously maintained by its current owner.

Special features

Due to the strict limited production run of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition, the vehicles quickly sold out at the 88 Porsche Centers. In addition to the car, an exclusive photo book documenting the production of the ordered vehicle at the Zuffenhausen plant could be purchased from Porsche for €4,000.00. This book, specially produced for this vehicle, is included with the car to complete the perfect documentation.
