The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 2014. This Gran Turismo is the successor to the legendary Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, with the GT intended to embody even greater dynamism than its gullwing predecessor. In Affalterbach, the goal was to rival the Porsche 911, a notion clearly conveyed in the television commercial at the time. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT was developed entirely in-house by AMG in Affalterbach and offered in various performance variants between 2014 and 2021, with a model upgrade in 2018. All Mercedes-Benz AMG GT models are powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, with power always transmitted to the rear axle via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

History

The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C was delivered to its first owner and customer in Northern Germany on September 8, 2017. For the next seven and a half years, the vehicle remained with its owner and was regularly serviced according to manufacturer specifications. It wasn't until spring 2025 that the car changed hands for the first and only time, passing to a close friend of the owner. This friend chose this open-top sports car because of its meticulously maintained condition and unique color combination. Before delivery, the roadster will receive a full service at Mercedes-Benz.

Besides its meticulously coordinated color scheme, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C is particularly impressive due to its exceptional condition and complete service history. The remarkably low mileage of just under 14,000 kilometers equates to an annual mileage of a mere 1,750 kilometers. A closer look at this sports car reveals that it has never seen rain.
